Siteary respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, used, stored, and handled when you use the Siteary mobile application and related Siteary services.

Siteary is designed primarily as a local-first project documentation and management application. Most project information created in Siteary is stored on the user's device rather than automatically uploaded to a Siteary-operated cloud service.

1. Information You Add to Siteary

Siteary allows you to create, import, capture, organize, and manage information related to your projects and work.

Depending on the features you use, this information may include:

  • Projects and folders

  • Photos and images

  • Photo notes and markups

  • Written notes

  • Handwritten notes, drawings, and sketches

  • Documents and scanned documents

  • Contacts and addresses

  • Calendar information

  • Reports and field reports

  • Daily activity information

  • Tasks and project-related records

  • Quotes

  • Materials and labor information

  • Income, expenses, and other project financial records

  • Attachments and supporting files

This information is provided or created by you for the purpose of managing your own projects, records, documentation, and business activities.

2. Local-First Storage

Siteary is designed primarily as a local-first application.

Most project information, records, photos, documents, notes, and related files are stored locally on your device.

Siteary does not automatically upload all of your project information to a Siteary-operated cloud service.

Information may leave your device when you choose to perform an action such as:

  • Sharing a photo, report, document, or other file

  • Exporting a project, folder, report, or record

  • Saving information to another application or storage location

  • Sending information through email or another sharing service

  • Submitting feedback or contacting Siteary support

  • Opening or transferring information using a third-party application selected by you

When you choose to send information to another application or service, that information may become subject to that service's own privacy practices.

3. Photos, Camera, Files, and Documents

Siteary may use device capabilities necessary to provide features you choose to use.

Camera

Siteary may use your device camera when you choose to:

  • Take project photos

  • Capture field documentation

  • Scan documents

  • Add photographic records to projects or folders

Siteary does not intentionally activate the camera without user action.

Photos and Images

Siteary may allow you to select existing photos or images from your device and add them to Siteary.

Siteary may also allow you to save or export images from Siteary to another location selected by you.

Files and Documents

Siteary may allow you to select files and documents from your device for purposes such as:

  • Importing project documentation

  • Viewing documents

  • Organizing files

  • Annotating or marking up information

  • Creating reports

  • Exporting or sharing files

Siteary only uses these capabilities to provide functionality requested by the user.

4. Contacts and Addresses

Siteary includes features for creating and storing project-related contact and address records.

Information you enter into Siteary contact or address records may include information such as:

  • Names

  • Company names

  • Phone numbers

  • Email addresses

  • Mailing or project addresses

  • Notes or related project information

This information is used to organize your project records and may be included in reports or other documents when you choose to use it.

Siteary does not sell contact information for advertising or marketing purposes.

5. Notes and Handwritten Content

Siteary may allow you to create written notes, checklists, drawings, handwriting, sketches, and other freeform content.

This content is treated as part of your Siteary project information and is generally stored locally on your device unless you choose to export or share it.

6. Financial and Business Information

Siteary includes project and business recordkeeping tools that may allow users to record information such as:

  • Income

  • Expenses

  • Quotes

  • Material costs

  • Labor costs

  • Project costs

  • Financial attachments or supporting documentation

These features are intended for project management, documentation, and business recordkeeping.

Siteary does not provide banking services, payment processing, money transfers, loans, investment services, cryptocurrency services, insurance services, or financial advice.

Financial information entered into Siteary is generally stored as part of the user's local Siteary data unless the user chooses to export, share, or otherwise transfer it.

7. Reports and Exports

Siteary allows users to create reports and export project information.

Reports or exports may contain information selected by the user, including:

  • Photos

  • Notes

  • Project details

  • Contact information

  • Addresses

  • Financial records

  • Materials and labor information

  • Other project documentation

You control when Siteary information is exported or shared.

Once information has been exported from Siteary, the exported copy may be stored or processed by another application, service, device, or recipient selected by you.

8. Field Testing and Feedback

Some versions of Siteary may be distributed as part of the Siteary Field Test Program.

Field testers may choose to submit feedback, bug reports, suggestions, or other communications.

Feedback may include information such as:

  • Feedback category or type

  • Subject

  • Written comments

  • Siteary application version

  • Device platform or operating system

  • Identification that the application is a field-test build

Information submitted through feedback or support communications is used to:

  • Investigate bugs

  • Diagnose problems

  • Improve Siteary

  • Evaluate features and usability

  • Respond to support requests

  • Improve future versions of the application

Siteary does not intentionally collect unrelated project information simply because a user participates in the Field Test Program.

9. How Information Is Used

Information handled by Siteary may be used to:

  • Provide Siteary's application features

  • Store and organize project records

  • Display photos, files, notes, and documents

  • Create reports and exports

  • Maintain project financial and business records

  • Support user-requested sharing and export actions

  • Provide technical support

  • Investigate application problems

  • Improve Siteary

  • Operate and evaluate the Siteary Field Test Program

Siteary does not use users' private project information for behavioral advertising.

Siteary does not sell users' private project information.

10. Sharing of Information

Siteary does not sell personal information or project information.

Information may be shared when:

  • You intentionally choose to share or export it

  • You choose another application or service as a destination

  • You send feedback or contact Siteary

  • Sharing is reasonably necessary to provide a service you requested

  • Disclosure is required to comply with applicable law, legal process, or lawful government request

  • Disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, security, or integrity of Siteary, its users, or others

Siteary does not intentionally share users' project information with advertisers for targeted advertising.

11. Third-Party Services

Siteary may interact with operating-system features or third-party services when you choose to use functionality such as:

  • Google Play

  • Email applications

  • File-sharing applications

  • Cloud storage applications

  • Device photo or file pickers

  • Other applications selected through your device's sharing tools

Siteary does not control the privacy practices of third-party services.

Information transferred to a third-party service is subject to that service's terms and privacy policies.

12. Data Retention

Project information stored locally in Siteary generally remains on your device until you delete it.

Certain deleted Siteary items may remain available in Siteary's Deleted Files or recovery area for up to 30 days before permanent deletion.

Feedback, support communications, Field Test records, and related business records received by Siteary may be retained for a reasonable period of time when necessary to:

  • Provide support

  • Investigate bugs or technical issues

  • Improve Siteary

  • Maintain appropriate Field Test records

  • Maintain legitimate business or legal records

13. Data Deletion

You can delete Siteary information using the application's available deletion tools.

Where supported, deleted items may first move to Siteary's recovery or Deleted Files area before being permanently deleted.

Because Siteary is primarily local-first, uninstalling the application may also remove locally stored Siteary application data from your device.

Before uninstalling Siteary, users should export or back up any information they wish to retain.

Information that you previously exported, emailed, shared, or saved outside of Siteary must be deleted separately from the destination where it was stored.

14. Security

Siteary uses reasonable measures intended to protect the information handled by the application.

Because much of Siteary's information is stored locally, users are also responsible for maintaining the security of their own devices.

Users are encouraged to use appropriate protections such as:

  • Device passwords or PINs

  • Biometric authentication where available

  • Current operating-system security updates

  • Secure device backups

  • Appropriate control over physical access to the device

No electronic storage or transmission system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

15. Children's Privacy

Siteary is a project, field documentation, and business-management application and is not designed or directed toward children under the age of 13.

Siteary does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 for the purpose of providing the Siteary service.

If Siteary becomes aware that personal information from a child under 13 has been collected in a manner inconsistent with applicable law, appropriate steps will be taken to address the information.

16. Future Siteary Services

Siteary may introduce additional optional services in the future.

These may include features such as:

  • Siteary Accounts

  • Cloud synchronization

  • Cross-device synchronization

  • Team or company collaboration

  • Hosted storage

  • Connected services

  • Additional desktop or web functionality

The introduction of future services may change how certain information is collected, transmitted, stored, or processed.

If Siteary introduces features that materially change its privacy practices, this Privacy Policy will be updated accordingly.

17. Changes to This Privacy Policy

Siteary may update this Privacy Policy as the application develops or as legal, technical, or business requirements change.

When material changes are made, the effective date shown at the top of this Privacy Policy will be updated.

Continued use of Siteary after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective may be subject to the updated policy as permitted by applicable law.
